MBSR/MBCT Distance Learning and One to One Courses

1-1  Mindfulness Sessions: If you are unable to attend a standard 8-week course or would prefer not to follow the course in a group setting the entire course can be offered in a one-to-one format. The advantage of this is that it provides a greater opportunity to discuss content in more depth; gives more space to personal experience and of applying what you are learning to your daily life. It also means you can have much more flexibility in doing the course at a time that suits you.

Format of the distance learning course:  8 weekly, 60-minute sessions on Zoom.

Home practice: This is an important part of this course since evidence shows that people who commit to regular practice seem to benefit most from mindfulness. The home practice takes between 15-30 minutes a day, 6 days per week, and involves:  

•       Listening to a Guided Mindfulness Practice 

•       Engaging in informal daily life practices.

•       Personal reflection. The learning from mindfulness comes through our own experiences within the practices and through the way we integrate this way of being into our daily life.

You will be given notes and guidance after each session and contact in between if needed.  The cost of the 8-week course £40.00 per session = £320.00 paid in total, weekly, or in installments.  If there are a couple or small group of friends, or colleagues we can arrange a fee that feels appropriate together.
